Students honored for Scholastic Art and All-State music selections; certificates and ensemble recognitions presented

The board publicly recognized students who earned Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and selections to regional and All-State music ensembles.
Joe Walsh (presenting certificates) and other staff named the 202426#8211;25 recipients of certificates of excellence in visual arts, including Adam Moy (national silver medal and gold key, digital art) and Cameron Better (gold key). The board acknowledged Scholastic regional award recipients and named the districtfirst middle-school Scholastic Art & Writing recipient.
The board also recognized students selected for the New Jersey Music Educators Association (NJMEA) regional and All-State ensembles. Presenters listed 18 students selected for regional ensembles and 21 students selected for All-State ensembles across elementary, intermediate and high school levels. Named students included Abigail Bozhardt, Olivia Huang, Alexander Gigliotti, Dan Ryzick, Julia Haldorsen and others.
Superintendent Dr. Zirpoli and the board congratulated the students and encouraged continued participation in arts and music programs.
The recognitions were ceremonial presentations; no board action was required.
