The Town of Lakeville Fire Station Building Committee said it has received 15 general contractor packages and 14 subcontractor packages for prequalification and expects to begin the formal bidding process in June.
The committee’s project staff said the prequalification subcommittee has completed initial reviews and plans to certify the list of prequalified firms within days. “We did get 15 general contractor packages, and we got 14 subcontractor packages for prequalification, which is great numbers,” Alex (project staff) said during the April 23 meeting.
