Commission accepts bid and awards contract for 2025 concrete pavement repairs to All Finished Concrete

The West Fargo City Commission accepted bids and awarded the 2025 concrete pavement repair contract (Project 2291) to All Finished Concrete Incorporated after a bid opening April 17.
City Engineer Dan Hansen said the low bid of $1,500,000 was within the engineer’s estimate of $1,570,000. He told commissioners that the overall project budget in the CIP included $1,500,000 for concrete repair plus roughly $325,000 for pedestrian ramps and associated costs, for a total of about $1,825,000. Hansen noted that the bid amount covers the contractor’s work; additional ‘‘soft’’ costs such as staff time, bonding, legal and administration are not included in the contractor bid but are part of the project estimate.
Commissioner Zundell moved to accept the bid and award the contract; Commissioner Anderson seconded and the commission approved the award by voice vote. Hansen said All Finished Concrete is a local firm with a good standing in the community and staff looks forward to working with them on the repairs and ramps.
