West Fargo commission approves city administrator employment agreement effective May 1

On April 21 the West Fargo City Commission voted to approve the city administrator’s employment agreement, which Human Resources staff said had been updated with revised accrual balances to reflect an effective date of May 1.
Sarah Koechner, the city’s director of human resources, presented the final agreement and told commissioners the contract had been distributed previously and revised after the prior meeting to reflect leave accruals tied to the May 1 start date. Commissioners moved and seconded approval; the motion passed by voice vote.
The commission did not discuss additional changes at the meeting. The action authorizes execution of the agreement so it can be signed and implemented consistent with the contract terms presented by Human Resources.
