At its April 21 meeting, the Price City Planning and Zoning Commission recessed, convened as the Certified Local Government (CLG) committee, and then recessed and reconvened as the planning commission. All procedural motions passed unanimously.
Planning staff (Nick) told the committee that CLG grants are a matching program and asked commissioners to review eligible projects in the packet. Staff summarized eligible uses from the packet as including development outreach, National Register nominations, pre‑development and preservation planning, program administration, surveys and inventories of historic resources, and outreach. Staff said the grants are 50/50 matching funds; the packet text listed a grant maximum as "$10" (as presented in the packet), and commissioners were asked to note items that might fit future grant cycles.
Commissioner Richard moved to convene as the CLG committee; the motion was seconded and passed. The committee recessed and later reconvened as the Price City Planning Commission to continue the meeting.
