Committee moves Ocean Avenue Community Benefit District renewal and small expansion to Board ballot

Jackie Hazelwood, Community Benefit District Program Director at the Office of Economic and Workforce Development (OEWD), presented the item on behalf of Supervisor Melgar, the sponsor. Hazelwood said the Ocean Avenue Association (OAA), a nonprofit that manages the CBD, met the state-law threshold of support from 30% of property owners in March 2025.
