The House of Representatives suspended its rules to consider certain House and Senate bills on the consent calendar, adopted conference committee reports, and passed measures including House Bill 622 (HD1, SD1) and multiple House concurrent resolutions by voice vote, members reported.

Representative Morikawa moved to suspend the rules to consider bills for final reading by consent calendar; Representative Garcia seconded. Members voted by voice and the speaker announced the motion carried.

Representative Todd moved to adopt conference committee report numbers 1 and 2 and to pass the accompanying Senate bills as amended on final reading; a Representative seconded. Members offered brief requests to insert written comments or reservations. Representative Morikawa called the vote; the clerk reported that all majority members voted aye and that all minority members voted aye. The speaker announced that the bills had passed final reading.

On House Bill 622 (HD1, SD1), Representative Todd moved to agree to the Senate amendments and Representative Morikawa seconded. Members then moved that HB 622 (HD1, SD1) pass final reading. The clerk acknowledged receipt of the record-of-votes form for the bill and later reported that all majority and all minority members voted aye; the speaker announced that the bill passed final reading.

The House also agreed to Senate amendments and adopted the following House concurrent resolutions with senate drafts by voice vote: HCR 25 (HD1), HCR 27, HCR 55 (HD1), HCR 77 (HD1), HCR 123, HCR 146 (HD1), HCR 171, HCR 174 (HD1) and HCR 203. Representative Todd moved to agree to the Senate amendments and to adopt the concurrent resolutions; Representative Morikawa seconded and the speaker announced the motions carried.

The House noted 48 members present and two excused earlier in the session. Representative Morikawa moved to keep the journal open until midnight for the purpose of receiving conference committee reports and drafts; Representative Garcia seconded and the motion carried. The House then recessed until 9:00 a.m. Wednesday by motion of Representative Morikawa, seconded by Representative Garcia.
