The Grass Valley City Council took two procedural actions at its April 22 meeting:
The council amended the agenda to postpone an administrative appeal (referred to at the meeting as item 8) to the May 13 meeting to accommodate the appellant’s request for a translator. The request to postpone was made during the agenda‑approval portion of the meeting and the council voted to carry the amendment.
Later in the meeting the council approved the consent calendar by roll call; the mayor called for a motion, the consent calendar was moved and seconded, and the roll call recorded five yes votes: Council member Arbuckle, Council member Bonamolo, Council member Ivy, Vice Mayor Caravelli and Mayor Hodge. The mayor announced the motion carried 5–0.
No separate discussion of individual consent items occurred on the record after public comment; the consent calendar included a variety of routine items (members of the public referenced specific consent topics during public comment), and the motion to adopt the calendar passed as one action.
No other ordinances, resolutions or final actions were taken on separate measures during this meeting’s business portion as recorded in the transcript.
