County staff said work on Bozeman Road is well under way and, so far, has caused minimal traffic impacts compared with conditions before the project began.
Staff reported clearing and grubbing are substantially complete, earthwork has begun near the Gluckstadt Road intersection (southwest quadrant and north of the reserve), and a contractor is laying pipe from Reunion Phase 2 South to the reserve on the east side of the roadway. Over the next three months, staff said the contractor will start a retaining wall at Cedarmont Subdivision, continue earthwork and pipeline work from Reunion South to the reserve, and begin earthwork on the west side from Mansdale to Elizabeth.
When asked about the Gluckstadt–Catholic intersection, staff said completion is scheduled for this fall. Staff also said they have met repeatedly with Cedarmont homeowners and that the planned entrance alignment remains as originally designed. For Bozeman Phase 2, staff said plans are finished and the county is making offers to affected property owners; construction of Phase 2 will be ready to proceed once Phase 1 is finished and right-of-way acquisition and utility relocation are complete. Staff reported Phase 1 is scheduled for completion in April 2027.
No formal vote or policy action occurred during the update; the remarks were project-status information from county engineering staff.
