The board approved meeting minutes for April 1, April 7 and April 15, 2025; authorized Cooperative Extension to receive additional funds from the Chatham County Partnership for Children; and approved an amendment to a services agreement with Gregory Poole for the Salad Waste program to address increased costs. The board accepted $116,327 in streamflow rehabilitation assistance program funds offered through the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for the Soil and Water Conservation office.
Harnett Regional Water won board approval for two resolutions authorizing grant and/or loan applications to the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality to address preliminary engineering, design and construction work at a treatment plant.
