My mom signed it up for it because she want me to learn how, like, the army is because we're learning about army.”
Student 2 said participants help with flag duties: “And so we are in charge of setting up, taking down the flags along with our patrols. So they're learning the history of the flags and what to do. They know, hey, whenever that flag is coming going up and coming down, you gotta salute it. My why was mostly just trying to instill what I had. I wish I had something like this back in elementary school.”
“I did do ROTC, and so that's what got me into the military life, but just something that I can give back to the to the kids,” Student 2 added.
