The county attorney reviewed the draft and the court raised multiple questions about open terms (TBAs), project execution, compensation and contract language that could affect later construction phases.
Several commissioners and the judge said they wanted the contract reviewed by an experienced construction or commercial‑project reviewer (the court referenced consulting with representatives from the Allison firm and other construction experts) before approving an agreement that could lead to later construction contracts. For that reason the court moved to table the item and requested a stakeholder meeting to resolve open questions. The court set a follow‑up for May 12, 2025, and the motion to table passed without exception.
Commissioners said they support moving the renovation project forward but emphasized that the county must resolve ambiguous contract terms and confirm the scope and phasing plan before executing a professional services agreement.
