The Daggett County Municipal Building Authority on April 22, 2025, approved minutes for April 8 and April 15, accepted routine financial reports and an $81.96 open invoice, and received updates on the county's water treatment plant and clinic projects.
The authority's staff reported that “the bond was closed with CID for the water treatment plant project,” and that funds had been transferred into a PTIF; staff said those funds will be the first spent under the rules of CIB and will be reimbursable as project phases advance. Staff also said the authority is awaiting a final bid amount and noted that the bid opening is scheduled for May 6. Separately, staff described the clinic project as “winding down” and said questions about landscaping remain.
Meeting business opened with a motion to approve the Municipal Building Authority minutes from April 8 and April 15. An unidentified board member moved, another unidentified board member seconded, and the presiding member called for the voice vote: “All in favor? Aye. Aye.” The authority accepted the minutes without recorded opposition.
Financial items approved included the cash summary and accounts receivable report dated April 18, 2025, and an open invoice register dated April 21, 2025, for $81.96 described as “MBA NCC grant equipment.” The reimbursement register contained no items requiring action. For each routine item, the board recorded motions, seconds and voice approval; no roll-call votes and no dissent were recorded in the meeting transcript.
On project timing, staff said the bond closing and transfer to PTIF allow the authority to proceed once the contract amount from bids is finalized; staff noted the need to have the bid amount to complete closing paperwork. Regarding the clinic, staff said construction is nearing completion and that landscaping details are still being worked out.
With no further business, the presiding member adjourned the meeting by acclamation at 9:42 a.m.
