The committee received no public testimony and no amendments before taking action.
Vice Chair Sen. Wilkowsky moved to report the resolution out of committee with individual recommendations and attached fiscal notes; the chair noted no objections and the resolution moved from the committee. The committee said it would sign the transmittal paperwork after the meeting.
The resolution is a reaffirmation of the legislature's intent and does not create new statutory obligations. Committee minutes show the vote proceeded by unanimous consent after the motion; no roll-call vote tally was recorded in the transcript.
