Florence City Council approves UDO setback change, several rezones and extensions; moves other items to defer

The council also adopted a resolution designating certain public spaces where sale, service and consumption of beer and wine may be permitted at approved special events, and proclaimed April as Fair Housing Month (Resolution 2025-11).
The council deferred action on the downtown design standards ordinance (Bill 2025-08) and moved the Community Development Block Grant budget (Resolution 2025-12) to be considered later.
