Nolensville beer board approves on-premise beer permits for Urban Gents LLC and Churchill

The Town of Nolensville Beer Board unanimously approved two on-premise beer permits April 21, 2025: one for Urban Gents LLC at 1025 South Walk Drive, Suite 101, and one for Rue’s Bar and Grill LLC doing business as Churchill at 7180 Nolensville Road, Suite 1B.

Urban Gents LLC plans to open June 1 in the Southwalk development and described itself as a men’s luxury salon offering hair, manicure and pedicure services and a full-service bar that will provide complimentary drinks as part of a membership offering. An applicant told the board the salon will accept walk-ins as well as members. After brief discussion the board voted to approve the on-premise beer permit; Commissioner Gill moved, Commissioner Carpenter seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.

Churchill’s representative said the business had been open roughly a month and described the operation as a traditional British pub offering draft beer, craft cocktails and food. The owner (Carl) is expected to arrive within two to three weeks, the representative said. The board voted to approve the on-premise beer permit for Rue’s Bar and Grill LLC d/b/a Churchill; the motion carried unanimously.

Both applicants received copies of paperwork after the meeting. There was no public opposition in the beer-board portion of the meeting and no conditions or additional restrictions were recorded on the permits during the board’s discussion.
