Nevada Senate grants waiver and refers SB 461 on economic development to committee

The waivers were announced on the floor and recorded as granted effective April 30, 2025. “Waiver requested by senator Cannizzaro for BDR 32 10 70, which is senate bill number 461 … has been granted effective 04/30/2025,” the secretary read into the record.
The bill text was placed on the desk and then moved for referral. “Thank you, Mr. President. I move to refer, SB 461 to the Committee on Revenue and Economic Development,” said Senator Neal. The referral was ordered after the president asked if there were any objections and none were voiced.
Separately, the secretary announced an administrative sponsorship change: Senator Nicole J. Cannizzaro approved addition of Senators Cruz Crawford, Daley, Flores, Lang, Wynne and Taylor as sponsors on Senate Bill 460. The announcement was made on the floor and entered into the record.
The Senate concluded its business for the legislative day and adopted a motion to stand in adjournment until 11 a.m. Thursday, May 1, 2025. The motion was carried by voice vote.
