Chris Roslynowski, Harley‑Davidson corporate project manager, told the council the company is consolidating two warehouses and plans to add motorcycle racking “which gives us opportunity to go really high in that big beautiful warehouse space.” He said the site is attractive because it is “only one exit away from our product development center.”
Staff described the space as approximately 60,000 square feet (the former JCPenney/Amazon building) and said proposed hours are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with occasional weekend activities. No e‑comments were received and no members of the public spoke in favor or opposition during the hearing.
The mayor closed the public hearing and confirmed Planning Commission review on May 12; the council will consider the commission’s recommendation on May 20.
