The Planning and Zoning Board approved a preliminary plat (SD2025-02) Thursday that would divide a 5-acre, city-annexed parcel in the High Point neighborhood into five roughly 1-acre lots.
City planning staff and the applicant’s agent, Kirk Miller of KE Miller Engineering, said the proposed plat meets Valley Center’s subdivision regulations and the rural-residential zoning that governs the area; no zoning change was requested. “We’re not asking for anything outside of that,” Miller said, noting the plat follows the city’s lot-size and setback rules.
