Collegedale City Commission approves zoning map, service agreement, vehicle sales and finance report

The Collegedale City Commission on April 21 approved a package of routine and administrative items, including adoption of the city's official zoning map, a new service agreement to manage off‑duty police work, the sale of two surplus police vehicles and the March finance report.

The approvals came by roll call votes in which Commissioner Baker, Commissioner House, Commissioner Johnson, Vice Mayor Sadler and Mayor Lloyd voted in favor of each item as recorded in the meeting transcript.

The commission adopted Ordinance 1157, described in the meeting as "an ordinance of the city of Collegedale, Tennessee adopting the official zoning map of the city of Collegedale, Tennessee." The city said the map does not change property zoning; it serves as an official snapshot for reference. No members of the public spoke during the zoning public hearing.

Also adopted was Resolution 549, a proclamation commemorating the 120th anniversary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the 30th anniversary of Ooltewah Post 1697. Commissioners noted a veteran was present and said the city would sign the proclamation…
