Planning Department outlines major planning initiatives and target dates

Erica Leek, the Planning Department’s long-range planning lead, briefed the Housing and Planning Committee on the status and expected timing of multiple planning initiatives across the department, including station-area vision plans and corridor and downtown studies.
“In May, we expect potential adoption of the North Lamar and South Congress Transit Center Station Area Vision Plans,” Leek said, adding that the department expects to complete other technical work through the year and into 2026.
