Fairfield Union board approves routine personnel, supplemental contracts and trips; accepts one resignation

The Fairfield Union Local Board of Education approved a series of personnel actions, supplemental contracts, educational trips and routine financial items at its April meeting, and accepted a resignation that the superintendent said had been added to the agenda after it was published.

Several items were discussed briefly during superintendent and administrator reports before votes, including supplemental coaching searches and the district’s desire to fill a maintenance position quickly. Treasurer Missus Roberts described a fiscal "then and now" purchase order correction related to prom and noted a $500 donation to the land lab given in memory of Harold and Rita Archer.

All formal motions were made and recorded during the meeting and roll calls were taken for each action. Where recorded, votes were unanimous except for the consent-agenda roll call in which Missus Johns recorded an abstention.
