The council approved second reading of zoning changes affecting 620 Union Street and 577 North Church Street after opening and closing public hearings. Planning Director Bridal Frazier noted both items had been considered at first reading at the previous meeting; no public speakers were recorded during the hearings on either parcel before council voted to adopt the zoning amendments.
