The Cascade City Council voted unanimously Monday to adopt the city's fiscal year 2026 operating budget. Resolution 41-25 sets the operating budget to run July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.
City officials opened a public hearing on the FY2026 budget and recorded no public comments. The council closed the hearing and moved directly to a vote.
The measure was introduced and moved by Councilmember Delaney and seconded by Councilmember Gale. During the roll call vote members present — Councilmembers Oliphant, Weber, Hush, Gale and Delaney — voted "aye." No public speakers addressed the budget during the hearing.
No amendments to the budget were recorded on the floor during the meeting. The council earlier cleared the consent agenda and other routine business before opening the budget hearing.
The council also set a public hearing date later in the meeting for a separate fiscal year 2025 budget amendment (see related item).
