County Judge Manoy opened the meeting and the court approved the minutes for the April 15, 2025 meeting and the consent agenda with motions by Commissioner Marsh and second by Commissioner Wright. The court authorized payment of routine bills, including a $1,007,253.63 payment to Sidalco for March 2025 services on the county jail expansion project; that payment was moved by Commissioner Wright and seconded by Commissioner Hardenberg and the motion carried.
The court rejected a procurement effort for a tandem drum roller for Road and Bridge Precinct 4 after no bids were received. A Road and Bridge staff member told the court, "we did not receive any bids for this roller for Precinct 4. So I am asking the court to reject this bid." Commissioner Hardenberg moved to reject the bid; Commissioner Arthur seconded and the motion carried.
