Youth Commission staff and partners outline recruitment push, rescheduled retreat and social media procedures

Bess Earl of the county project management office and a Safe and Sound representative (Taneen) said outreach will target schools and neighborhood organizers, with a goal of having candidate lists available for the May Leadership Committee. Earl said the county intends to recruit for three open seats: Districts 6, 14 and 16. Safe and Sound will use neighborhood organizers who work in Milwaukee Public Schools, charter and private schools to share application information and encourage students to apply.
