The consent items were: a special‑use permit (Case 250501SU) for sale and consumption of beer and wine at a full‑service restaurant at 5855 SE Fifth Street; and three zoning changes—Case 250503ZC (Sarah Muir) changing part of a parcel from Community Business (B‑2) to Agricultural (A‑1); Case 250504ZC (Billy L. Armstrong) changing B‑2 to Single Family Dwelling (R‑1); and Case 250505ZC (Gary and John Martin) changing Mixed Residential (R‑4) to Rural Residential (RR‑1) for a 4.6‑acre parcel at 1085 Southwest 100th Avenue. Growth Services staff read each case into the record and confirmed proof of publication and posting for the hearing.
The commission chair opened the floor for anyone to request an item be removed from consent; no one objected. A commissioner moved to adopt the consent agenda as read, another seconded, and the commission voted in favor. The items will be placed on an upcoming Board of County Commissioners agenda for final decision.
The commission reminded applicants and members of the public that this board is an unpaid, recommending body and that final decisions are made by the county commission on the dates read into the record.
