The Mehlville R-IX Board of Education approved the 2025–26 memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Mehlville National Education Association (NEA) on April 20, passing the agreement by a 6–0 vote.
Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Shannon Pike and district chief negotiator Chris Tice presented the MOU terms to the board. Pike said the agreement was ratified by the Mehlville NEA on April 22 and sought board approval that same evening.
