If the commission initiates the process at the business meeting, staff will draft a proposed ordinance that incorporates recommendations the planning commission attached to its resolution, and staff said it will return with specific details such as setback and coop standards.
The work session discussion did not include final ordinance language or votes. Staff said the initiation motion is a procedural step required by state code and county practice; drafting and public review would follow if the initiation is approved at the business meeting.
