Brown.
The court began by approving claims for April 2025: electronic funds transfers (EFTs) of $579,021.93 and regular claims totaling $1,469,160.84, for a combined total of $2,048,182.77. The motion to approve claims was made by Commissioner Hogg and seconded by Commissioner Leacock; the court approved the motion by voice vote.
The court then approved a set of land-planning items. It authorized an amendment to the plat for Mystic Shores Unit 12 to combine Lots 1522 and 15203 into Lot 1522R (motion by Commissioner Crownover; second by Commissioner Webb; approved). The court also granted final plat approval for a vacate-and-replat of Lot 1A, Block 1, Christ Our King — establishing Lots 1ARA and 1ARB — restoring a prior residential configuration that results in a 4.7-acre tract and a 17.3-acre tract (motion by Commissioner Hogg; second by Commissioner Leacock; approved).
The court approved two supplemental agreements with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (easement DACW632140545 and consent DACW639140546) for improvements at Boat Ramps 7 and 8. The work described includes adding parallel parking at Boat Ramp 7 and creating a new parking area for passenger vehicles at Boat Ramp 8; county staff estimated Boat Ramp 8 construction would be finished by the end of May (motion by Commissioner Crownover; approved).
The court granted a variance to the county’s facility use agreement to allow issuance of an alcohol permit for the Spring Branch Tennis Association’s July 3, 2025 event at Jim Boban Sports Park, an event the presenter said expects about 7,000 attendees (motion by Commissioner Crownover; second by Commissioner Leacock; approved).
