Centennial board adopts 2025–27 Integrated Guidance Plan to align Roadmap '27 goals with state programs

The Centennial School Board on April 23 voted to adopt the district'level Integrated Guidance Plan for 2025–27 and authorized staff to submit the plan to the Oregon Department of Education before the April 30 deadline.

Director Mo Callahan presented the district'level plan, describing it as an alignment of the district’s Roadmap '27 strategic goals with the state’s integrated framework that groups multiple grant programs under a common set of objectives. The board was told the plan synthesizes and carries forward work from Centennial’s 2023 Roadmap '27 and includes community engagement and the district’s newly developed Profile of a Graduate.

Key points presented and approved - The plan focuses on three high‑level outcomes the district and ODE monitor: early literacy, student engagement/belonging, and career readiness (including CTE). The district will continue its existing targets for those metrics for 2025–27. - Callahan said the integrated approach was intended to reduce duplicative reporting and tie targeted grant programs — including comprehensive school improvement, targeted school supports, early literacy, and college/career programming — to shared district goals. - Staff and board members emphasized the plan does not bring additional recurring state funding. Because ODE indicated it will not revise district long‑range growth targets for 2025–27, Centennial will retain the targets it used in the 2023 submission and pursue the locally prioritized strategies outlined in Roadmap '27.
