Resident alleges long-running property fraud during public comment

Stanley described a series of legal disputes and named individuals and judges he said were involved. He said he spoke to the county previously about slander of title and fraud and that court documents he brought to the meeting support his account. "That home has been for my for me for 60 years," Stanley said of the property he described as subject to an order to vacate. He claimed a private individual and judges had taken actions without his notice, asserted that a power of attorney used in some probate actions was fraudulent, and said earlier rulings had denied some of the contested documents.
The county clerk accepted documents Stanley provided for the record and staff offered to make photographs so copies could be returned to him. Commissioners did not take action on the allegations during the meeting; the public-comment period concluded after Stanley finished and staff indicated they would keep the materials Stanley handed to the clerk.
Why it matters: public comment is the normal channel for residents to bring grievances to the commissioners. The board did not announce any immediate follow-up action during the meeting.
