The Capital Improvements Oversight Board nominated and approved new leadership at the close of the May meeting.
A board member moved that Ruth Ewing be made chair of the board; another board member seconded the motion. The board recorded the vote as unanimous. The board then nominated and seconded Justin Trigger for the vice chair position and recorded that vote as approved as well.
The procedural changes followed the resignation of the previous chair, who left to run for office, and board members said they will finalize scheduling and other administrative items by email ahead of the next meeting.
Ending: The board plans to schedule its next meeting for late June or early July and will use email coordination to finalize dates and agenda items.
