Resident raises concerns about Slater Creek Park renovations, missing amenities

Macrina reviewed items the parks board had listed on its CIP: a full park survey, geotechnical investigation in key project areas, playground renovation, concession building demolition, new restrooms, storage building, skate‑park shade, drainage repair, channel slope stabilization and a new fence on tennis courts. He questioned the need for some changes after recent work at the park.
Staff response and next steps: During the meeting staff said a complete survey and geotechnical investigations would begin soon in key project areas of Slater Creek Park as part of CIP planning. Commissioners and staff encouraged residents with specific questions to follow up with parks staff so projects and timing can be clarified.
