The Yamhill County Budget Committee elected Kate Johnston as committee chair and Greg Thorsgaard as secretary during its April 28 meeting.
Commissioner Starett moved to nominate Johnston for chair; the motion was seconded by Jason Fields. Committee members approved the nomination by voice vote with no members opposed. Later in the meeting a committee member nominated Greg Thorsgaard for secretary; that nomination was seconded by Commissioner Starett and approved by voice vote. Thorsgaard accepted the nomination.
The votes were routine, voiced and recorded as unanimous by the committee chair during the meeting.
