The Bellevue Planning Commission agreed April 24 to amend the future land-use map of the city's comprehensive plan to correct the mapped boundary of Offutt Air Force Base and to include land recently deeded to the base west of Paradise Park.
Planning staff said the change corrects an error in the map approved in December and incorporates two minor updates: a boundary correction along South 20th Street between 370 and Capehart Road and inclusion of federal land recently deeded to Offutt. Staff also said the city expects to de-annex the newly federal property before the City Council hearing so the map will be updated to reflect the change in city limits.
Commissioners moved and seconded the map amendment; the chair announced unanimous approval. The item will go to City Council for public hearing on May 20, 2025.
