District reiterates attendance boundaries for reconfiguration; principals continue class-size balancing

The district has already rolled students forward in its student management system and will accept attendance-boundary exception requests through the usual policy process (Policy 7.98). Elementary principals will consider any requests in light of class-size caps; staff noted they will use Policy 7.98 to move students across the line when necessary to balance classes.
Board members asked for clarity about how families would be notified and whether class lists could keep kindergarten classmates together if feasible. Superintendent Brzezinski said the attendance assignments were already communicated and that principals would consider class-grouping requests as they finalize rosters. Staff reminded trustees that specialized programming and special-education placements may alter a student\'s building placement regardless of attendance boundaries.
