"She comes with over 20 years of experience, including as a teacher, instructional coach, supervisor of instruction, and most recently, she's been an elementary principal in the Allentown School District for the past 7 years," Dr. Campbell said. The board and community members welcomed Griffin to introduce herself.
LCTI (Lehigh Career & Technical Institute) report: Board representative Mr. Smith (reporting to Doctor Levinson) said the JOC noted strong student performance on national assessments and work to address high demand and wait lists in popular programs. LCTI plans to merge cabinet making and carpentry programs after a retirement, add a veterinary technology teacher, reduce staff in Emerging Digital Media while adding cosmetology staffing, and pause a rebranded alternative CAP program in favor of holding positions to address wait lists in 2026–27.
