Council withdraws special motion on 'smart shuttle' funding after requests for clarification

Councilmember Perry, sponsor of the motion, agreed and withdrew the motion; no vote on the substance occurred that day.
In related remarks, Councilmember Holden and others expressed concern about relying on a supervisor's discretionary fund for a time-sensitive transportation program and about the potential risk to service continuity if promised funding were reversed. The exchange left the matter pending until staff and the sponsor address the outstanding corrections and can present a resubmitted motion with the required findings.
