CAPSA asks city to promote "shame-free conversations" training during Sexual Assault Awareness Month

CAPSA asked the council to identify local groups (PTAs, religious groups, youth organizations) that could host the 45-minute to 90-minute training and to help amplify the curriculum through the city's social channels; Oling said the training is being added to CAPSA's website as part of a site redesign and offered to supply local usage statistics upon request.
Mayor Kathleen Alder and council members asked whether CAPSA could provide the city with local use statistics; Oling said she could provide ZIP-code breakdowns where available but noted clients do not always provide location data. The council did not take formal action on the presentation but expressed support for outreach and for coordinating social-media posts to publicize the training and resources.
