Springfield Township SD property committee hears updates on middle school work, summer projects and campus operations

Consultants from CHA and district operations staff told the Springfield Township School District Property Committee on Monday that multiple construction projects are advancing and that routine operations work over spring break improved several campus facilities.
The CHA team said summer roofing work at the high school is scheduled to begin in June after students leave, and that remaining items from last year’s projects — including the Erdenheim ramp and the middle school track — are being closed out. "We do expect the sod to start today, no later than tomorrow," Doug Taylor of CHA said about the track site, and he said the surfacing for the high jump area remains pending while the contractor and district resolve a color issue.
