WAUKESHA, Wis. — At its April 28, 2025, meeting, the Waukesha Ordinance and Licensing Committee approved several alcohol, agent and alarm-system applications by unanimous consent.
The committee approved a bartender license for Melissa Corrigan. Corrigan was not present at the meeting; committee members noted she has a single prior alcohol-related offense in the record and that she had held a bartender license within the last two years. The motion to approve passed without recorded opposition.
The committee also approved a Class B beer and Class C (liquor/wine-only) license application for Mama Duckie’s Desserts, represented at the meeting by owner Melissa Lugo. Lugo told the committee she has operated in Waukesha for four and a half years and recently moved to a new location on the city’s south side near the previous Pat’s Ribs site; she said the new site is better suited for sit-down breakfast and lunch service and could serve beer and wine. Committee members approved the license; the clerk’s office advised the license would be available after the city council meeting and standard processing (the committee noted it should be available about a week from the next council meeting).
The committee approved the successor-of-agent application for Walgreens store #07730 after the clerk’s office confirmed the new agent completed responsible beverage server training. The committee also approved private alarm system licenses for ADT, Brivo Alarm Systems (listed as ADT Bridal Alarm System in the packet) and Interface Security Systems LLC.
All of the listed approvals were recorded as passing unanimously. Committee members gave no contrary motions or extended debate on these items.
The committee adjourned at approximately 6:24 p.m.
