Commissioners and IED board members reported a creek bisects the property and that the back portion has access toward London Mill Road; moving an existing gate was mentioned as a possible means to create access to the rear parcel.
Commissioners directed the IED board to pursue a survey to subdivide the property (at county expense to be recouped through sale) and recommended using a realtor to market the resulting parcel(s) once survey work is completed. The IED board indicated that survey and deed work would be factored into the sale price. The commission did not set a sale price or complete the sale at this meeting; staff will return with survey costs and recommended sales strategy.
