Resident proposes volunteer cybercrime response group; city staff asked to accept materials

She said she spoke with a cybersecurity trainer who has worked with the FBI and military and that the expert called the idea a "really great idea." Collis offered to volunteer and to place a volunteer team at a public library to assist residents reporting cybercrime; she said she had a recording of an incident that illustrated current reporting gaps.

Mr. Brown said staff would follow up with her; no formal staff action was taken during the workshop.
