Board hears summary of 2025 state legislation affecting Fayetteville schools

Claire, the board legislative liaison, told the Fayetteville Public Schools Board on April 24 that the state legislative session has ended and walked members through a set of recently enacted acts that will affect district operations.
"The legislative session is over. That's the best part of the update," Claire said, and then summarized bills the district tracked. She said the district monitored 245 bills this session; 37 were sent to the governor and 36 were signed.
