Monticello board accepts $3,270 in donations for high school fishing team

The donations will support the team in its third year as a school activity, Olsen said.
The board moved to accept the gifts; the motion was made and seconded and passed by a 5-0 vote. Board members expressed appreciation for community support for extracurricular programs. No conditions or restrictions on the donations were recorded in the meeting discussion.
Actions: The board approved a resolution to accept the listed donations and direct staff to acknowledge donors and allocate funds to the fishing team program.
