The district reported the grant award total at $140,000 and said 50% ($70,000) of the award will pay the provider for a multi‑phase plan to develop a district math instructional framework across this school year and the next; the district said the provider selection was required by the Texas Education Agency grant process. A motion to approve the contract was made by Randall (board member) and seconded by Greg Hoffman; the board approved the proposal.
