The workshop, facilitated by CSBA facilitator Angelina Bridal, opened with Bridal summarizing the evaluation results and differences from 2024. Bridal said the district had 36 "green" items both years but that the 2025 instrument showed fewer "blue" items and four entries rated "red," meaning areas many trustees saw as needing attention. "Everything that's green is is a strength for most members," Bridal said, noting she had to reconstruct some scoring manually this year.
Why it matters: Trustees said the evaluation surfaced pressures on board functioning that they linked to attendance patterns, unclear agenda-request practices and an on-the-record confrontation after public comment earlier this year. Trustees asked for clearer procedures and more training for incoming presidents and vice presidents so those duties can be handled consistently.
