Other public commenters spoke at length on environmental and jurisdictional topics; the chair paused some speakers to keep comments relevant to the continuance request.
Motion and outcome: Supervisor Melgar moved to continue items 34–41 to the May 13, 2025 Board meeting; Supervisor Walton seconded. The board took the continuation motion without objection and scheduled the appeal hearings to remain open until that date.
Why this matters: The project site is adjacent to a school and recreational uses; the appeal raises CEQA and conditional‑use concerns about siting, safety and proximity to sensitive uses (preschool).
