Kimberly Cook announced that Hillside Education Foundation scholarship applications are being accepted through May 25 and encouraged students to apply. Tahira Hardy said Valley Optical, in collaboration with district staff member Anthony Salters, will provide vision services at Hillside Innovative Academy.
The public-comment period opened and closed by routine board motions; the presiding officer reminded speakers to state their names, addresses and subject matter and said the board may limit comments to three minutes if the period exceeds 15 minutes.
